Warranty (commercial use)

This warranty is provided by VelectriX Pty Ltd, 10 Capital Place, Birtinya, Qld, 4575, Australia. Phone 1300 530031, email service@velectrix.com.au and website www.velectrix.com.au. VelectriX warrants its products, including all individual components against defects in material or workmanship as follows:


The warranty period is not renewed or extended as a result of a warranty repair or replacement. The sales receipt for the product must be provided as a proof of purchase when a warranty claim is made. The warranty is not transferable and is only offered to the original purchaser of the product. The warranty only applies to products purchased through VelectriX directly or a VelectriX authorised reseller/dealer. Any approved warranty work must be completed by VelectriX or an authorised VelectriX reseller/dealer. To the extent that any conditions or warranty implied by law is excludable, such a condition or warranty is excluded. Bicycles that are purchased to be used for commercial use, including the delivery of goods or for hire purposes (short or long term) are required to be serviced by a professional bike shop or mobile service company at least once every 3 months, failure to comply could void warranty.


VelectriX bicycle frames are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for a 1 year period, from date of original purchase.


VelectriX’s bicycle, non-electrical components including forks, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, saddle, brakes, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, rims, spokes, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, kickstand, reflectors and are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 6mth from the date of original purchase.


VelectriX’s bicycle, electrical components including the motor, controller, display, battery chargers, wiring harness and batteries and are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for a 1 year period from the date of original purchase. Electronic components such as controllers, batteries, motors, and chargers may need to be returned to VelectriX for testing prior to replacement or repair.


The following parts are deemed to be considered wear and tear and are not covered under warranty: tyres, tyre inner tubes, tyre valves, lamps for lighting system, handlebar tape, handlebar grips, brake pads, hydraulic oils and lubricants, chains and toothed belts, gear shift cables, brake cables, paint, baskets, rack and any other non-standard accessory.


The following acts are not covered under warranty: damage caused by acts of god, damage caused by improper use or force majeure, damage which results from improper or insufficient care, repairs or maintenance, alterations, modifications or the replacement of parts by persons other than trained mechanics, accidental damage, neglect, abuse, misuse, repairs resulting from the use of second hand parts, damage caused from competitive use, damage caused by stunt riding or exceeding the bikes carrying capacity or legal speed.


If you believe your VelectriX product is faulty or defective, please contact VelectriX or a VelectriX authorised reseller/dealer regarding the fault. Depending on the nature of the fault you may be required to return the product to either VelectriX or a VelectriX reseller/dealer at your own cost for more advanced testing. Once the product has been confirmed to be faulty, we will repair or replace it under the terms of the relevant warranty. Charges may apply for pro rata warranty costs and/or transport costs to send a replaced or repaired product. In the event a product is deemed by our testing not to be faulty or, you have the choice to have the product returned at your own cost. We will not make any charges without your approval.
